Hi, All. Just to close out this thread, we have now successfully
merged two Invenio installations into one. Without getting into
specific details, we roughly used the following procedure:
- wget the MARCXML of all records from each installation.
- convert all 8564 tags to FFT
- manually add filenames to FFT tags that only pointed to the source
directory
- copy all of the PICTURE* and icon-PICTURE* files to a single
directory in /tmp/pics.
- update the FFT tags for PICTURE records to point to /tmp/pics
- wipe out all records
- bibupload all MARCXML files
