the page you see when you reach a collection is a static page generate by
webcoll. It can not be aware of the user being logged-in. For this reason it
generically prints the above message. We will improve the usability of this
area in the future.
On the other side, performing a search on the collection can dynamically check
for proper authentication/authorization, hence if no problem arise and your
account is correctly connected to the thesesviewer role after clicking on the
search button on the "Theses" collection you should be able to see its
content. Pleas let us know in case of any other issue.
