Hi, now what the etchnhalf kernel has been uploaded, what are the next steps needing to happen, so that we have installation media and an announcement? Anything I can do to help?
After writing this I checked the wikipage to get the URL to suggest to draft
the announcement there and then noticed I wasnt subscribed to it, doh

Simply add the etch-proposed-updates sources after main in
your /etc/apt/sources.list.
How can a user propose update to support more Hardware

When will it be shipped
The current plan for etch and a half is to release as part of a point release
(4.0r4).
What packages would be updated
linux-2.6.24
Xorg driver (none yet).
A new version of d-i, based on Lenny one.
So I guess the only questions left is when is r4 to be expected and if/how I
can help with that ;)
