I don't think that the non-cv records need 1,000 at a time. The CV formats
only need it because in creating a reference list it's annoying to have to
keep scrolling through screens to cut and paste into a document (or
perhaps they're using wget or something like that). In all the other
formats, people are actually looking at the results, so 100 at a time
ought to be plenty.
