I do not have any code related to METS support yet.
I am reorganising the branch with BibDocs (as ideas evolved a bit) and soon I
will push it.

Hi Piotr,
unfortunately I had not yet found time to analyze and understand your
METS proposal, but anyway, provided you retain feature-backward
compatibility, please go ahead :-) (can you push any early code you have
developed up to now, to a public place so that I can see it?)
