Being Invenio a digital library software (for the preservation of digital
content) it would be nice to exploit the '''PDF/A''' specification that
has born to preserve digital content in the future.
(see: <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PDF/A)
''Ghostscript'' support the conversion to PDF/A standard, and this
conversion could be plugged in the form of a WebSubmit function (like
`Stamp_Uploaded_Files.py`).
At the same time, the PDF could be ''linearized'' (via pdfopt) (see:
http://linux.die.net/man/1/pdfopt). Since CDS Invenio has now gained
multipart/byteranges response support Adobe Reader would exploit the
combination of this and a linearized document to open in a very optimized
way the document over the network.
