Visit to SAO office may be required. *Work Summary * The candidates filling these Senior Systems Analyst position will be responsible for working with internal and external business partners to identify, analyze and document requirements to develop new features needed for the IBIS application. The candidates will also be responsible to work with various internal groups like development team, software test team and others to make sure that agreed upon solution is documented and delivered to end users. The candidate will also be involved in documenting changes to existing documentation to help modify existing features of IBIS application. Candidates will have to follow SR&T’s newly rolled out SDLC process and will be documenting functional requirements, technical requirements, non functional requirements, implementation details and test conditions documents. The candidate must be an expert in using Power Designer tool for documentation. Candidate must also have working experience in using MS Visio or similar tools to document use cases and deployment models. Candidate should demonstrate expertise in writing basic database queries to validate date in Oracle 10g database. Candidate must also be an expert in using MS Office tools like MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point. Candidates showing familiarity with JAVA/J2EE technologies and are able to read JAVA/J2EE, SPRING, JSP’s, XML and HIBERNATE code will be given preference and is a definite plus. Travel to the SAO office may be required. * Responsibilities * The ideal candidates will be responsible for: Participating in design/architecture meetings to document design decisions and to cross check with requirements. Applying industry standard analysis, documentation techniques, including Use Cases where appropriate, to assist in providing optimum solutions. IBIS Systems Analysis Efforts – Document Functional Requirements, Technical Specifications/Requirements, Test Conditions document, Non-Functional Requirements where applicable. Modify Business requirements if required. Perform unit testing and document results. Demonstrating strong problem solving ability, logic, and analytical skills. Interacting with other areas within ETS Strong written and oral communication skills are a must. Maintaining team spirit and a positive attitude. Performing comprehensive preliminary testing and producing all entrance criteria documentation required to promote products under development to Software Test (SQA). Experience The ideal candidates must have at least 6+ years of progressively diverse systems analysis, documentation and testing experience using Web and XML technologies.
