Position: Linux/C++/J2EE - Developer/ Architect Location: Schaumburg, IL Duration: 8-12 Months Rate: $55/Hr Job description We are looking for a strong software candidate with the excellent coding skills as well as a strong sense of software design - i.e. this is not a matter of a contractor simply implementing to a set of specific requirements. Rather, the candidate should expect to be engaged to define the application experience iteratively. To be clear, by 'design' we do not mean the media assets or GUI layout - more along the lines of good architecture and implementation design. Qualifications * Experience in application SW development * Activities will include design and development of web-based clients, client-server programming, GUI programming, and DB programming * Language proficiency in C++ and Java/JEE required * MS CS degree preferred * Solid English communication skills * Familiarity with common web frameworks a plus (e.g. ibatis, hibernate, tomcat, glassfish, etc.) *The platform is Linux, but server rather than embedded programming.
