Job Title: Senior Business Systems Analyst Location: Minneapolis, MN Duration: 12+ Months Contract. Responsibilities: This is a key technical resource focused on building out a real time & connected enterprise. The connected enterprise theme is based on seamless data & system integration framework. This person focuses primarily on analyzing applications, systems, and business processes. He or she demonstrates expertise in following object oriented analysis & design methodology, leveraging UML to develop and express a canonical model. Ensures compliance of technology solutions with architectural standards and participates in full software development life cycle through agile methodologies. Key Tasks: Primarily responsible for conducting business and systems analysis sessions to gather data requirements with business & technical partners. Responsible for deriving and maintaining an enterprise business model, expressed in UML and depicted as a canonical model. Documents systems use cases and connect these to the model. Leverages architecture tools (e.g.: Visio, Rational, etc.) to maintain and evolve the model and use cases. Qualifications: 10+ Years of Business Analyst. Solid background on Object Oriented data design patterns. Expert on UML. Must be familiar with middleware and web technologies. Solid requirements gathering and use case analysis. Experience in working under an Agile software development approach. Technical Skills: Object Oriented Analysis and design (OOAD) methodologies. Architecture modeling tools (e.g.: Visio, Rational, etc.) SOA architecture design patterns. XML standards/protocols i.e. DTD, XSD, XSLT etc. Preferred Master in Computer Sciences.
