Job Title: Sr. J2EE Developer Location: Chicago, IL Duration: 6+ Months Contract Must be Local to Chicago, IL - In person Interview is Must !! An experienced J2EE developer to assist in the development of shared services utilized by our banking applications. Responsible for analysis, design and development of services within framework of current services and enterprise frameworks. Work in close collaboration with the shared services architect and the business teams. KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS Knowledge of Java, Weblogic application servers, Oracle database and PL/SQL, and Spring Framework. Extensive experience in web service development and SOA is required. Knowledge of full software development lifecycle. Analytical and problem solving skills. A positive goal orientated attitude with a focus on delivery. MAJOR DUTIES Design detail technical solutions using best available technology Consult with shared services architect and business partners on requirements, organize and synthesize to technical requirements and designs Design and Develop components as defined above Ensure code meets standards and tested appropriate to the platform Communicate status (written and verbal) to project team and management EXPERIENCE 5 years experience developing Java based applications 3 years experience developing web services 3 years experience working with relational databases SKILL SET Web Services (SOAP and Restful) (required) Weblogic (required) J2EE, Java (required) Oracle PL/SQL (required) Spring (required) JQuery/Dojo/Ajax (nice to have) J2EE Specific - Has experience in the development, maintenance, and testing of services. Responsibilities include Coding, testing, and debugging application programs from functional specifications.
