Job Title: .NET Developer Location: Columbus, OH (Need only Local) Duration: 6-18 Months Contract In-Person Interview is Must. Candidate must be local to OH. Required skills/years: SQL, SQL Server, Stored Procedures: 5 ASP.NET using C#: 5 Javascript (JQuery is a plus): 3 HTML: 3 CSS: 3 XML: 3 Adobe Flash (Actual Flash development is not needed but the candidate will need to know how implement Flash into a web page): 2 Description: They will be working on our EIM dashboard which is a C# web application that connects to a sql server database and displays various metrics in regards to assaults, OT costs, conduct reports, population, utility usage and other items that management deems necessary to monitor. they will be doing work on the Utilities portion that display's information on utility costs and recycling. It will mostly be reports and some flash charts that read an XML file generated from SQL server. Preferred Education: 4 year college degree or equivalent technical study with advanced study preferred. Role Description: Converts scientific, engineering, and other technical problem formulations to formats that can be processed by computer. Resolves symbolic formulations, prepares flowcharts and block diagrams, and encodes resultant equations for processing by applying extensive knowledge of branch of science, engineering, or advanced mathematics, such as differential equations or numerical analysis, and understanding of capabilities and limitations of computer. This is a professional level non-supervisory position which may require coordination of programming activities being conducted by the team Confers with other business and technical personnel to resolve problems of intent, inaccuracy, or feasibility of computer processing. Works with necessary personnel to determine if modifications are necessary with interested personnel to determine necessity for modifications or enhancements. Leverages excellent written and verbal communication skills to develop new business process and programming solutions as directed by business and technical stakeholders. May coordinate activities of computer programmers.
