Title: SOA Middleware Engineer

Pay Rate::$85/hr on c2c

Duration :9 to 12 months

Job Description:



Candidate will be responsible for infrastructure engineering of Oracle
Fusion (SOA Suite)Middleware deployments that support complex and essential
web services across the enterprise, including shared and dedicated,
production and non-production environments.



Will engineer the OSB and BPEL Web Service deployments in multiple
datacenters using Active/Active and Active/Passive patterns.



As needed, assist application teams with the design and troubleshooting of
services hosted within the SOA environment.



Knowledge/Skills:

Extensive knowledge of Oracle SOA Suite middleware, SOA principles and
service design, application integration patterns, and messaging.

Clear understanding of the core technologies and industry specifications
that compose SOA including the WS specifications, REST, XML, JSON, XSLT,
messaging, BPEL, distributed transactions and SOA security.

Strong communication skills and technical leadership will be needed to
broker discussions with infrastructure, application development, and
management.

Major Duties:

Design SOA web service clusters that meet transaction processing, capacity,
and availability requirements for high availability in a multi-datacenter
environment.

Configure and test integration of web services with message oriented
middleware, security solutions, and monitoring tools.

Implement change control for platform and application updates from
non-production to production environments.

Develop and test disaster recovery plans for application servers and
middleware.

Write shell and WLST scripts to automate repetitive tasks as required.

Create runbooks, standard setup guides and support documentation for
operating teams.

Interface with and advise development teams that are creating and consuming
Oracle Fusion base web services.

Instruct others on how to administer, configure and support OSB, BPEL, BAM
and OEM.

Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline and at least
seven years' experience in systems architecture and development
methodologies, or an equivalent combination of education and work
experiences.

At least five years of experience designing and implementing web services
infrastructure in an enterprise environment.

Experience with Exadata and Exalogic a plus.

Working as a Lead WebSphere Commerce Technical Consultant, you will be
responsible for the architecture, design, implementation, and integration
of complex enterprise IBM WebSphere Commerce solutions for clients. Our
solutions leverage common IBM WebSphere frameworks and modules, are built
on top of  IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS) and typically integrate
with enterprise databases and web services.
The Lead WebSphere Technical Consultant will interface with internal as
well as client technical staff for the purposes of design and planning,
implementation, integration and support of client solutions. You will be
responsible for translating business needs into technical solutions, and
defining solutions to problems through reasoned application of information
technology.  This architect-level consultant designs, installs, implements,
configures, tunes, documents and analyzes application architecture of
complex IBM WSC and WSP based systems. This role is also responsible for
determining the integrated software architecture solutions that meet
performance, usability, scalability, reliability, and security needs of our
clients and is expected to research and recommend technology to meet
application requirements.

mediate opposing viewpoints and negotiate equitable solutions to ensure
successful and stable outcomes. You will use your practical skills and
experience to design and architect solutions, and also to lead the

·  Implementation and integration labor estimates

·  IBM WSC application design and architecture

·  IBM WSC application implementation and implementation team leadership

·  Working with globally distributed development teams

·  Application performance testing, recommendations and tuning

·  Lead customer custom application deployment activities, integrating with
AT&T hosting, network, and security services as appropriate for the client
solution

·  Design, lead and perform IBM WSC application solutions throughout the
client lifecycle

·  Maintain a baseline of IBM WSC industry knowledge to advise on technical
trends and techniques and creatively apply them to solution design and
development

*Required Qualifications:*

·  Eight or more years related technical experience

·  Formal training and hands on experience architecting, designing,
implementing, and deploying of solutions that leverage the following:

·  IBM WebSphere Commerce

·  IBM Websphere Application Server (WAS)

·  DB2, Oracle and SQL

·  Ability to work with HTML / CSS/ Javascript

·  LINUX/UNIX - Redhat Enterprise Linux

·  Experience working with integrations such as Sterling Commerce and SAP

·  Experience working with Business Analysts in the capture and
documentation of requirements, use cases, and user interface specifications

*Desired Experience:*

·  BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related
technical field

·  Experience in designing, building or supporting large scale enterprise
class solutions

·  Enterprise wide deployment planning and support for mission critical
applications

·  Enterprise level application architecture, design, implementation,
configuration, deployment, performance tuning and tweaking

·  Development of technical documentation for custom applications and
systems

·  Takes initiative, quick learner and has desire to improve the quality
and reliability of client solutions

·  Ability to work with technical and business-oriented teams
