Description
1. Installation & Configuration
Validate that installation and configuration can be performed by an
experience
MSFT storage admin after HP performs initial install and provides knowledge
transfer training.
1. Basic functionality
Validate that an experience MSFT storage admin with initial StoreOnce
knowledge
transfer can perform basic BUR functions.
1. Advanced functionality
Validate StoreOnce BUR features for managing policies.
1. Replication
Validate the advanced functionality of StoreOnce replication including the
setup, failover, and failback aspects of the technology.
1. Application Integration
Demonstrate the ability to integrate with VMWARE, MS SQL, and Oracle RDMS.
1. Performance / Monitoring
Demonstrate the ability to monitor all aspects of system performance
including
IOPS, Throughput, and Latency on both front end and backend of the array. In
addition demonstrate the ability to display performance statistic both
real-time
as well as historically.
1. Resiliency / Availability
Demonstrate the resilience and availability of the system by injecting
failures
into the system such as node failure, drive failure, power supply failure,
etc.
1. Operating Environments
Demonstrate the interoperability of the storage array with Windows, SLES,
AIX,
RHEL, and HP/UX.
1. Scalability
Demonstrate the ability to add resources to the system, none disruptively,
such as performance and capacity.
1. HP Support
Must validate that HP provides comparable to EMC 3yr 4hr 7 x24 support and
executes to service level agreement consistently.
