Job Title: Senior Unix administrator with Javascript Location: NYC, NY Duration: 1+ Year Contract Skills Need: Must have at least 8+ years or more years experience as a Senior Unix administrator. Must have 'Recent' Strong experience with Linux, Solaris, Debian, and RHEL. Must have recent experience with: Virtualization (Xen/VMware/EC2) Storage Backup - Disaster Recovery - Networking - Performance - Security Must have extensive 'Recent' experience providing and automating day to day systems administration duties; Shell(Bourne), Perl, and Python scripting abilities Must have Troubleshooting skills ; Ability to identify, isolate, and correct systems, networking, and virtualization related issues Agility ; Ability to rapidly adapt to a fast paced, technology driven environment Familiarity with the following ; Apache, DNS (BIND), LDAP, Monitoring, NFS, SMTP/Postfix, FC/ISCSI SAN, SSH, SVN, Solaris Zones/Xen/VMware, TCP/IP Familiarity with software development tools, methods, and processes.
