Job Title: Data Modeler / Architect Location: Rochester, MN Duration: Longterm Contract Hiring 2 Data Modelers in Rochester, MN. One shall be at the Architect level and a second to be strong as a Model Builder. Desired experience and job responsibilities are listed below. This project is a clinical improvement program focused on using all available clinical data (medical records, labs, pathology, radiology, etc.) to monitor individual patient care. The program combines data processing capabilities such as natural language processing (NLP), complex event processing, and rule evaluation to organize and enrich healthcare data stream and derive actionable insights. Here's what we need: Both Roles need: Healthcare experience, preferably provider-side. Conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling Relational and dimensional modeling Highly proficient with one or more enterprise class modeling tools. Prefer Sybase PowerDesigner. Alternates include E/R Studio, ERWin, IBM Rational Architect, etc. Visio or other diagramming tools are not adequate. Data analysis to validate models (SQL and SQL related tools) Works with Business Analysts to refine functional data requirements Works with DBA and ETL developers to implement and validate models Works with QA to ensure models are of high quality and are implemented correctly Supports and performs as needed source to target mapping activities For the data architect: Previously led a modeling team of at least 2 (excluding self). Capable of executive presentation of data models Capable of leading modeling sessions with business and technical participants.
