Cognos Tm1 Developer Location: Atlanta, GA Terms: 6-12 months Responsible for supporting all phases of the software development life-cycle process for business intelligence tools and other supporting processes and applications. Designs and implements IBM Cognos TM1 applications required to automate business processes and meet business needs of all the business units, with a heavy emphasis on finance. Provides support and training to users as needed. This position typically works under general supervision and direction. Solid understanding of processes and activities that occur within accounting and finance functions, including accounting systems design and implementation. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Designs and implements new TM1 applications based on business requirements 2. Design, develop, tune, and optimize the Cognos Framework Manager Packages 3. Design and implement BI reports and analytics using WSA, analysis studio, and Report studio 4. Experience in developing, debugging, and optimizing complex SQL queries 5. Experience with Cognos BI reporting solutions 6. Uses IBM Cognos BI to develop reports and analyses from TM1 and associated data 7. Create Drill through Process from TM1 Cube to EDW for querying transaction level data 8. Design, build and populate TM1 Cubes with latest actual data from EDW 9. Maintain and automate dimensions and load various types of Cubes in TM1 10. Use full TM1 10.2 suite of product, including, Performance Modeler, TM1 Applications, API, etc. to deliver solutions 11. Experience integrating TM1 with Cognos BI 12. Analyze systems needs and create system models 13. Analyze data needs and recommend data models or changes to data models 14. Work as a team player with limited support and decision making capabilities 15. Must have team oriented collaboration and communication skills Must-Haves: 1. 8-12 years of experience working with IT and Finance – developing complex budget and forecasting applications and designing and developing complex TM1 Websheet and Active Form reports 2. At least 5+ years TM1 development experience 3. At least 3+ years of experience in developing framework manager packages and BI analytics 4. At least 5+ years of experience in developing complex SQL and PLSQL scripts 5. Knowledge of budgeting and forecasting within accounting and finance functions 6. Experience Cognos TM1 version 10.2, TM1 Applications, TM1 Performance Modeler, TM1 Architect and Perspectives, Cognos Insight 7. Experience in building, optimizing, and tuning OLAP cubes in Cognos TM1 8. Experience with Cognos Business Intelligence applications integrated with TM1 (i.e, Cognos 10, Cognos Analytics, TM1, etc.) 9. In depth experience with data warehousing and business intelligence projects, having delivered multiple solutions in these areas 10. Strong knowledge of MS Excel, pivot tables and database design basics 11. Understanding of relational, dimensional databases and data modeling/database design 12. Experience in installing, configuring, tuning, and monitoring TM1 and Cognos servers 13. Good group presentation skills and excellent communication skills, verbal and written 14. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems or related discipline Requirement: 2 Note: Rate is $75/hr on C2C Filenet Architect Auburn Hills, MI 12 Months · 8+ years’ experience in the design, configuration, and administration of the following FileNet P8 5.1 modules: · IBM Content Engine · IBM (BPM) Process Engine · IBM Content Collector (ICC) – File System and Email Archival · IBM Enterprise Records (IER) · Work with multiple FileNet project teams to help resolve issues both within the core FileNet components and with other teams such as server engineering, security, active directory. · Work with other technology areas to facilitate integration with external systems · Exposure in developing and configuring Custom Applications and Web Services in order to customize Enterprise Content Management (ECM) solutions · Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently · Working knowledge of Linux, AIX, and Windows · Working knowledge of WebSphere Application Server (WAS) Administration console · Participate in the design, development, testing and implementation of required application changes to support the project requirements. · Ensure standards and processes are being followed · Assist application development resources to develop appropriate application documentation based on assigned projects. · Takes the Solution Architect’s design and oversees the execution of the design · Leads detailed design sessions with different areas in Comerica, vendors, and clients (if applicable) · Provides input to the Technical Project Manager (TPM) on tasks, statuses, issues, and risks · Leads issue resolution sessions with different areas in Comerica, vendors, and clients (if applicable) · Possesses excellent leadership and people skills · Superior ability to communicate with technical team members and business users · Must be able to learn new material quickly and have strong logical and problem-solving skills · Must be willing to work on-site in Auburn Hills, MI Desired Skills & Experience: · At least four years of experience implementing the following ECM technologies : (Design, Development, Implementation, Administration, Support) · IBM Content Navigator 2.0.2 · IBM Case Manager · IBM FileNet P8 Content Manager 5.x · IBM FileNet P8 Business Process Manager 5.x Preferred: · At least six years of experience in project life cycle activities on development and maintenance projects. · Ability to work as part of a team in a diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment · Experience working in Banking and Financial Services domain · IBM Certification as FileNet solution architect preferred Qualifications: · B.S in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience is required Thanks & Regards….
