ETL Lead Harrisburg, PA Long Term *ETL Lead Developer:* The Senior ETL Lead is a key role in the Business Intelligence Technical Services and Architecture team and works closely with business leaders and users to define, develop and implement the data architecture for business intelligence applications. Design and Develop components of databases, data schema, data storage, data queries, data transformations, and data warehousing applications. Drive technical direction for projects. Assess business rules and collaborate internally, and with business owners to understand technical requirements and implement analytical and technical solutions. Effectively resolve problems and roadblocks as they occur; and consistently follow through on details and drive issues to closure. Write documentation and communicate database design. Collaborate with program management and testing peers in the development of assigned components. This role will also be responsible for the strategy, design and architecture of ETL tools to support TE next generation data warehouse. This person will drive the transformation of the current TED (TE Data warehouse) to a SAP Centric Architecture with standardized ETL processes and lead the transformation of the TED Organization to enable the business to visually consume and interact with information. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Implementing and optimizing ETL processes using SAP Business Objects Data Services / SAP Business Objects Data Integrator - Design the data integration architecture including selection of ETL Vendor products and implementation of ETL solutions using one of the leading ETL packages (e.g., SAP Data Integrator..) - Design and implementation of an operational data store and data warehouse on one of the leading database platforms (e.g., SAP HANA , Teradata , Oracle …) - Review development and test specifications; performing data analysis; providing development support for existing systems - Troubleshooting data and/or system issues; building/extending toolsets; creating/maintaining batch jobs; creating systems documentation - Provide data analysis and identify data related issues as needed - Ability to conduct discovery, perform root cause analysis, and make recommendations for the remediation of data quality issues - The ability to design and recommend data policies and governance structures and control frameworks for the ongoing management of data *Requirements * - 8+ years of Solid experience with SAP Data Services ( Business Objects Data Integrator ) or other standard ETL tools and is required - Solid experience with SAP Business Objects Data Services ( Data Integrator), Business Objects technologies - Experience in large data warehouse implementations is a must - Strong background in Data Warehousing environment - Database development in an DW environment is a must have with an eye for tuning and performance - MS/BS degree in a computer science field or related discipline Thanks & Regards….
