Need the vehicle. This individual is part of a pricing team that maintains a complex application and database geared to providing the correct analytics for pricing. The current application is supported via a SQL Database and Qlikview reporting on the presentation layer The DBA/Developer fully supports maintaining the application and data and works in partnership with the business team to expand the application and reporting to make good business decisions around pricing the portfolio. *Required Experience* BE or BS Degree in one of the following subject areas: Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Technology or related field preferred. Master’s degree preferred or equivalent business experience 6-10 years IT operation with strong understanding of database structures, theories, principles, and practices 5 + years Microsoft SQL Server experience Superior knowledge of standard database tools, especially SQL Query writing, including relational and multidimensional database skills using SQL, Oracle, Sybase, MS Access. Must have at least 5-7 years’ experience in building and managing databases. Understanding of, and experience with, server-client computing and relational database environments Experience with data management and data processing flowcharting techniques Knowledge of reporting and query tools and practices Good understanding of the organizations goals and objectives Good interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills Technical documentation skills Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language Self motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment Good communication ,soft skills as the position requires to work with business closely. Business acumen and Business Analyst skills to help define and implement the requirements.
