VERY URGENT AND Immediate NEED Job Title: Data Architect Sr Advisor Location: Deerfield, IL Duration: 06+ Months Contract This Architect position reports directly to the Technical Enterprise Information Management team, and matrices to the Enterprise Architecture team. The Senior Data Architect (DA) is responsible for providing technical and data leadership to the whole of Information Systems and Technology business unit, with special focus working with / for Technical Enterprise Information Management, Enterprise Architecture, application development teams. The Sr. DA is conversant with and cognizant of the future direction of systems, how that direction will impact the Enterprise Data Architecture and how future and current systems can be exploited for the benefit of the enterprise. The Sr. DA will act as the data architecture domain subject matter expert for the company. *Responsibilities: * Demonstrated strong data architecture experience with large scale of medium to high complexity data environments for multiple business solutions across divisions or enterprise. Must have experience with Enterprise Data Modeling. Ability to communicate strategies and process around Data Architecture to cross functional groups. Through the understanding of the methodologies and technologies that depict the flow of data within and between application systems and business functions/operations, is able to develop, maintain and explain the Data Flow Diagrams of the company. Provide technical leadership to IT and the enterprise, especially on issues relating to future Information Technology modernization and/or expansion and Data Architecture directions and transitions Partners with the Enterprise Architecture team to deliver data design; Participates in architecture design reviews. Possesses full life cycle experience in Data Management/Architecture. Consults with the peer architects and business to determine logical design for new business solutions. Consults with other lead data architect for compliance to enterprise data design and maintenance. Collaborates with Enterprise Architecture for compliance to strategic enterprise direction and to determine architecture designs for new and / or enhanced business solutions. Coordinates and leads data activities in support of projects in the development of enterprise systems.
