Vincent, what you propose should be implemented in mailman. Mailman is synched
with Savane database, but not Savane with mailman.
While it would be great to have Savane providing easy access to such
functionality, it is the mailman job to provide it.

[CONFIRMED]
Hum, a button is not enough if the password has been changed. The process
should handle password update and I did not find in the mailman version we run
an easy way to update it (unlike other settings). So in the current state of
thing, it is not trivial.
In more recent version of mailman, I seen a script dedicated to password
change, so at this point it will be easier.
However, I clearly not in favor of running a non-debian-supported version of
mailman, considering security issues involved. Since we run Gna, mailman has
already been updated due to security issues, so keeping on the debian stable
stuff already proved to be the right thing to do.
In the mail sent at mailing-list registration, it is advertised that this
password is not easily recoverable, I think it should ok for now.
That said, as soon as we got a mailman version that allows easy password
change, we will add it. If the situation begin to be critical before, we'll
think to other workarounds.

Or even better : a button which sends *all* mailman sitewide auth information
to the user : its list of passwords as ML subscribee and admin.
