Hi,

I've researched why there sometime is a lag on the gna.org
machines (cvs, rsync ...). It turns out that lisa.gna.org is doing almost
all the IO. All other machines have an IO activity near zero.

Do I have to dive into details or is this situation clear to everyone ?

If it is clear, it would be a good idea to move cvs and rsync
(for instance) to bart and maggie and share to share the load. Of
course this is a bit more complex because of the
interdependencies. But I'd like to know if you agree on the principle.

I'm just making sure that buying a new machine is not just
an excuse for not understanding what's going on exactly.

        Cheers,
