I am one of the somali Bantu Refugees Who have been living in yemen
for the last 16 Yers or so. I have strived so hard to pick up the thread of
normal lif again,inorder that I could
Support afamily of 7 plus 4 other dependats. The UNHCR gives fixed food itemes
wich Cannot the cover familyneeds So,me and able members go begging just to
survive in a Country where its citizens are starving because of job scarcity. I
was always hoping that
UNHCR would come up with durable solution--Resetlement in a third country,
i,e
U.S.A. UK. Canada, but I have lost the hope UNHCR will pick me and will
cosider my
Situation. they are bypassing me for unknown to me reasons.
I cannot continue keeping the children in a camp where they are losing the
prespective
Of a good future or without seeing light at. the end of the tunnel.
I am seeking your support in convincing the UNHCR Resetlement Office
consider my
Case and include me in the process of the Resetlement which is going on in
the camp
At this moment; that is if you have friends or collegues in UNHCR Office in
Yemen
Or elsewhere, who is aple to support me.
I would appericiate if you could do that favour for me. I will be looking
