Yeah, when initially suggesting FTP, I more of thought like an "user-end-FTP" implementation, that "tranlates" standard FTP-actions into CVS stuff. More advanced stuff, like renaming or moving files could either simply result in an error or be implemented later. That's my "the world is all good" view on this issue, as I have no idea how things actually work here.

It was actually 2nd worst experience on mozdev to get CVS working. Install Phyton, Install WinCVS, make it not ask your password everytime, find out why it won't work, find out how I check out first so it works... (1st worst experience was when I accidentally overwrote all my non-backuped source files and had to find out how to get them back from CVS. 3rd was making CVS work on my new computer). Although I still think that Web Upload sucks, it would surely be easier than having to go through CVS all again when I'm changing computers. On a second though, if it was possible to "batch upload" via zip files (including folder-tree) that would be cool. But a simple file upload should be suitable a start :) In advance, a big thank you :) Greetings xeen On Nov 27, 2007 10:13 PM, Eric H.
