Looks like he has assigned all rights to you so you can re licence his
code in whatever way you like.

Put a comment at the top of this file stating where you ported it from
and the fact that the original is public domain. The fact that you
ported it to another language might make it a different animal, in which
case you own all rights to this version.

You can use any of the three licences that the Firefox/Mozilla source
code comes in, but in the spirit of mozilla org I suggest you maintain
the tri-licence.

The mozilla tri-licence is probably the most flexible.
