Wouldn't it be much better if Firefox/Thunderbird could download the
required locals only. I think this was going to be part of the new
extension manager but I don't know if it's has been completed yet.
Sure that would be better, but Firefox doesn't do that in FF2 and FF3. Hence
the need for the tool.
I'm wondering if supplying a extension with the required local only
could done on the fly by the mozdev server. Does the auto update
check send the Accept-Language header?
