I have never seen this type of error. I am not sure this is a Chrono problem, although anything is possible. Our CI system builds the code on Linux (Ubuntu 22.04) with both GCC and CLANG. No problems there. See for example: https://gitlab.com/uwsbel/chrono/-/pipelines/1464817711.
In any case, whenever you report problems with Chrono, and especially build problems, you should provide all relevant information. What version of Chrono are you using? Is it a release (if so what)? Is it a clone of the repository (if so, what branch)? You appear to be using GCC.
