Thank you for your response! It makes sense that collision detection and 
the additional physical aspects in Chrono complicate the implementation of 
adaptive step-size control.

I’ll be following the future developments regarding implicit time 
integrators and time adaptivity. I’m also happy to help with testing 
whenever the updates become available.
