Hi everyone, Thanks for all your work with the LibreOffice 5.4 release! I was closely monitoring social media on release day, and just wanted to share some of the positive messages that came up...
"Thank you very much for your dedication and fantastic work!" "I love this software! It is exclusive because of LibreOffice that I never have to worry about losing access to my library of notes/references due to 'updates'. That's been a tearful experience for me in the past, and I cannot fully express my gratitude to LibreOffice." "Some nice improvements. Thanks." "Been using LibreOffice and it's former incarnations for most of my life now as 100% compatibility with others isn't really necessary for us and for one way things/office store printouts, PDF's do fine. For those rare times that someone may have to edit the files, we provide a free installer copy of LibreOffice along with the file, they can delete it later if they wish, but often keep it in case they need it again. I very highly suggest folks donate even a small sum for this wonderful project from time to time, it's far better than having to pay hundreds or even thousands of dollars for commercial software." "Thanks for great software!" "I have spent the last 3 days writing a 200 page engineering spec document on libreoffice. It's the first time I've done anything with LO on this scale. Its a little weird in places but over all I'm really enjoying the work flow and small things like cursor placement under certain activities is great." "I love how LibreOffice bests Microsoft Office in almost everything." "Great job, thank you, it's really wonderful." "Latest updates look really good and there is some great practical features that will immediately get used by me. LibreOffice just keeps on getting better." "Well done, folks! Thank you so much" "Awesome to see how different people from many countries and cultures work together to improve the software. Thanks again." "My favorite office suite, you guys are doing a great job ;)" "Thank you for this great program. I love it." -- Mike Saunders, Marketing & PR The Document Foundation -- To unsubscribe e-mail to: projects+unsubscr...@global.libreoffice.org Problems? http://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/mailing-lists/how-to-unsubscribe/ Posting guidelines + more: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Netiquette List archive: http://listarchives.libreoffice.org/global/projects/ All messages sent to this list will be publicly archived and cannot be deleted
