Last Modified: 06 Apr 2012 05:58 For some children in Indonesia education may be a bridge too far. Without proper bridges students in West Java must cross through rivers and walk kilometres each day to reach their school houses. On average, flooding causes students to miss two days of lessons each week. Feeling the government has not addressed their requests for the building of new bridges, a group of local volunteers has embarked on a plan to build 100 bridges across West Java.
