Lagu ini BUKAN kisah cinta antara orang muda, tapi kisah pemuda Indonesia sebelum proklamasi yang memilih untuk dilatih oleh serdadu fascist Jepang untuk merebut kekuasaan (gadis yang dicintai). Bandingkan dengan video lagu Ismail Marzuki yang lain yang juga diberi ilustrasi dengan pemain yang sama.... .
