Orang Jawa dgn agama asli yg campur Hindu Budha lebih keras puasanya tetapi ga suruh2 orang ikutin cara puasa mereka. Ada yg mutih, ngidang, ngalong.
Orang Katolik puasa makan sehari sekali. Orang Islam puasa makannya 2 x sehari.
