Seorang dosen filsafat yg mengajar logic sampai bingung bagaimana logikanya??

Bukannya agama itu mengajarkan yg baik, kata temanku?? Ya, tapi dalam Islam
kebaikan itu relatif. Islam tidak berhasil menyelesaikan persoalan KEJAHATAN.
Pendekatan Islam adalah balas dendam, mata ganti mata gigi ganti gigi. bukan
cintakasih dan kebaikan. Muhammad sendiri begitu.

baca semua diskusi kalian melawan Jusfiq.
menjadi orang terhormat yg mengembangkan dunia, melainkan kalian tahu sendiri
mereka jadi apa.

kota, pemerbudak, pemerkosa tawanan, dll segala macam kejahatan yg dilakukan
atas nama Allah.

Neighbor: Bomb suspect from 'very nice', had 'normal' family

Mohamed Osman Mohamud, who was arrested on Friday night for allegedly attempting
to detonate a bomb at a Christmas tree lighting ceremony in Oregon, is due in
federal court Monday to answer to charges of attempted use of a weapon of mass
destruction.

As of a year ago, the 19-year-old naturalized U.S. citizen from Somalia lived
with his family in Beaverton, Oregon, across the street from Stephanie Napier.

Napier spoke with John Roberts on American Morning Monday morning to describe
her impression of the Mohamud family.

Bombing suspect Mohamed Osman Mohamud.

Mohamed Osman Mohamud, the 19-year-old Somali-American accused of wanting to
kill hundreds of people by exploding a bomb at Friday's Christmas Tree-lighting
ceremony in Portland, OR, thought it was wrong for his family to be living in
the U.S., The Oregonian reports:

"According to court documents, Mohamud sent an e-mail June 25, 2010, to an
undercover FBI operative that said he been 'betrayed by my family' because he
was unable to fly from the United Kingdom to Pakistan. After returning to
Corvallis, and after he and undercover operatives blew up a backpack of
explosives in a trial run early this month in a remote area of Lincoln County,
Mohamud made a video and said that living in the U.S. 'is a sin'."

Mohamud is due in court this afternoon. Meanwhile, the Associated Press writes
that:

"Portland Mayor Sam Adams said Sunday that he beefed up protection around
mosques 'and other facilities that might be vulnerable to knuckle-headed
retribution' after hearing of the bomb plot. The move followed a fire Sunday at
the Islamic center in Corvallis, a college town about 75 miles southwest of
Portland, where suspect Mohamed Osman Mohamud occasionally worshipped, prompting
an FBI arson investigation and concern about the potential for more
retaliation."

Clarence, "the logic of Islam"? What does that mean? I teach logic and I don't

Peter, I wouldn't speculate about the religious beliefs of the arsonist. He or
she was probably just angry at this episode regardless of their religious
beliefs or lack thereof. Polls by Pew and others have shown a surprising level
of support for violence in defense of Islam and "defense" is rather widely
construed to include responding to cartoons, satire, and criticism of the
religion.

As an American and an atheist I too am very glad that we have separation of
church and state. However, in Europe's much more secular cultures, even with
state religions which receive some state money, religious groups are less of a
threat to politics, culture, and civility than what we experience from religious
groups such as the religious right, Muslim extremists, and the crackpot "Nation
of Islam." And even that is changing because of the large numbers of Muslim
immigrants they allowed from places such as Pakistan.

An interesting assertion since the US is made up of people from all religions
and even those without any religion. To be thorough, one must also consider that
it could have been done by a radical Islamist to incite more violence.

Brice, it is certainly the case that radical Islam is not confined to the Middle
East but is present in most European countries, the British isles and
Australasia.

I hope that there will be a chorus of condemnation from American Muslims but I
doubt it. Academic studies here and in Europe have shown that many immigrant
Muslims place their religious identity above the country they have moved to and
in one article by a Swedish sociologist this was treated as understandable and
even commendable. It is a sociological fact that Muslims are reluctant to
condemn the actions of other Muslims but do react strongly to any comment
regarding their religion. Come to think of it so does NPR's software censor so
if I say any more about reactionary Islam I may have my remarks deleted.
