Kafilah kalian bakal dicegat dan diserbu. Orang Makkah tak menjawab malah mentertawakan surat tersebut. Dianggap lelucon. Sampai 3X Nabi mengirim surat seperti itu; hasilnya tetap sama; maka setelah itu terjadilah serangan pertama ke KAFILAH Makkah yang menuju Syam. Sehingga timbullah kemarahan Penguasa Makkah dan mengirim 1000 tentara; yang dilawan dengan hanya 300 orang Islam tanpa persenjataan lengkap. Hasilnya orang Quraisy dapat dikalahkan.
