we have been using remote_write feature in prometheus config to export datapoints to *Victoria Metrics*. whenever a new metric datapoint is added to remote_write, we are do a prometheus reload for applying changes. But this is not writing metrics to *Victoria* unless there is prometheus restart. Is this something expected ? Do we have to do a prometheus restart for the change to get appended ?
