Greetings, Days ago I wanted to monitor my three websites.
I searched and found Prometheus was great for this purpose. I took some hours to install and configure Prometheus, including the program inself, and blackbox exporter and alertmanager. Finally the suite of tools work fine, they monitor the sites correctly, send the email warnings if websites got down. So I wrote this step to step configuration for my use case, hope it will be working for other newbies.
