Hi all.... I would just like to inform the list that for those ogre's like me (PCAD+Protel user) Service Pack 2 for P-Cad 2001 fixed 'half' the transpose ability problem between packages. However, when I attempted to saved a P-Cad pwb as an ascii file, not only did Dr. Watson show up (re: NT 4.0 program crash) it also did the dinosaur on the design file. (a.k.a. a meteor came from space and destroyed all life, including *corrupting* the design file. Not reading or exporting in a file is bad, but *destroying work* is taking things to *ridiculous* heights. All this trouble it is not mentioned on the P-CAD site. Likewise, it shows yet another lack of good faith for the 'other side' to fix a mutual problem. To any Altium support out there, I am more than willing to help depox this issue, since as I am a frequenter to both packages and have a Protel preference. I feel like someone decided to let fresh air into my office by busting out a window. At present, P-CAD just claimed the title of 'E-Gad'. Barring that... my "Deletium" request was just honored. I can't wait for Controlium to shown up and make me an alcoholic.
