After placing a dimension I always (almost) explode it so it is a series of
lines and the dimension string. I do this to lock the dimension as "mm"
rather than having it flip between "mils" and "mm". I then do any rounding
to the required significance as required by editing the string.
Not ideal but there is no other method that I know of controlling
significance and forcing the dimension to "mm". Of course the dimension no
longer adjusts its measure as you resize, but in most of my work this has
not proved to be an big enough issue to fuss about or to sit down and set
out a suggested improvement to Protel.
bye for now,
Ian Wilson
