Once understood, you can define rules for any special case and routing strategies in a 'DO' - file. technically, it is an advantage compared to the protel router. But protel will have a new router in a short time, we'll see. BUT !!! If you didn't buy it already, first calculate the 'real' price. Cadence try to sell you a car without motor and wheels ! At least, you need the DF and AD option. Ask for maintenance cost after one year. You also should visit a 3 day training or workshop. Now add any cost and thats the real thing . I'm not sure if this are wise words, but maybe helps.
