i have been whining about the 'printer bug' for a while i got nowhere w/ protel support they 'never heard of it' and could not reproduce it
well i have just reproduced again, and here is the story the printer for one of our machines is a network printer attached to the UPS shipping computer that machine with the printer gets the hand me downs and melts down from time to time it just melted down again and was replaced it was the default printer for the protel machine via the network after the printer computer was replaced i started a protel session on the protel machine and it crashed big time (several times) i rebooted the protel machine, set the default printer to Distiller instead of the old and now nonexistent default printer from the melted down machine and now all is well again Dennis Saputelli ************************************************************************ * Tracking #: 3596749109DB6B4F931852CDE0476B219AFAD512 * ************************************************************************ -- ___________________________________________________________________________ www.integratedcontrolsinc.com Integrated Controls, Inc. tel: 415-647-0480 2851 21st Street fax: 415-647-3003 San Francisco, CA 94110 * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * To post a message: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] * * To leave this list visit: * http://www.techservinc.com/protelusers/leave.html * * Contact the list manager: * mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] * * Forum Guidelines Rules: * http://www.techservinc.com/protelusers/forumrules.html * * Browse or Search previous postings: * http://www.mail-archive.com/proteledaforum@techservinc.com * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
