Hi, As part of a motivation to upgrade to DXP 2004 we must prove to management that the Idf interface to Pro Engineer works smoothly. It seems that Dxp combined the .emp and .emn files into one file called .brd. When importing this into Pro E it creates the pcb and then stops, no components. Do i need to have the Pro E 3D components ready in a certain directory ? Or is it suppose to just create a block with a certain height. It might also need the components in the Protel 3DPcb library created from IGES files ?
Any experts out there who can help ? Thanks Johan * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * To post a message: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] * * To leave this list visit: * http://www.techservinc.com/protelusers/leave.html * * Contact the list manager: * mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] * * Forum Guidelines Rules: * http://www.techservinc.com/protelusers/forumrules.html * * Browse or Search previous postings: * http://www.mail-archive.com/[EMAIL PROTECTED] * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
