New issue 150 by ken...@google.com: src/Makefile relies on $^ which is not understood by FreeBSD make.
http://code.google.com/p/protobuf/issues/detail?id=150 FreeBSD's default "make" does not seem to understand the $^ automatic variable, which is supposed to expand to the list of prerequisites of the rule. FreeBSD users can work around this by using "gmake" but we should see if we can rewrite this more portably. Craig Silverstein suggests using something like: OLD_PWD=`pwd` && ( cd $(srcdir) && $OLD_PWD/protoc$(EXEEXT) -I. -- cpp_out=$OLD_PWD $(protoc_inputs); ) -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
