What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Visit downloads tab of protobuf project
2. See lack of precompiled binary for mac users :(
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
For all the same reasons that the precompiled windows binary is very handy
(thanks!), it would be very handy to have one for mac too. And maybe linux.
But I think those guys love compiling from source.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Protocol Buffers 2.4.0 compiler, on Mac OS X 10.5 and later
