Hi, I got the error well described here https://blog.woopi.org/wordpress/?p=137 but I checked my environment and I don't have any occurrence of "google protocol buffer jar with version 2.4.1", I have only 2.5 protobuf jars. I'm using apache hadoop 2.5.1 with apache giraph 1.2 and both use protobuf 2.5. Maybe apache giraph 1.2 was built with an erroneous dependency to 2.4.1 in place of 2.5 ?! Anyway I don't have this error in my local ubuntu 16.04 but I got it when I use ec2 cluster with exactly the same ubuntu version and java version. What can be due? Maybe the protobuf library can be influenced by native library? If yes, how can I check it? Please help me because I'm stuck with my master thesis.
