FYI, Zane's emailed me privately about this.  I don't think he wrote
the code and in fact I don't think he's a scripting guy at all -- he
offered to pay me to sort out whatever the thing is, before going
offline (I'm guessing to bed; he's in Australia, I think).  I gave him
some further code (and rate info if we really wants me to just sort it
out :-) ).  So I wouldn't bother spending more time on this thread.

Anyone know what happened to all of his messages, though?  They've
disappeared from the web display.  I asked him about it, since other
than one of the moderators or Google, he's the only one who can delete
his messages, but he didn't say anything about it although he replied
to something else.  I just find it odd that his messages disappeared.
