I've attached a patch that fixes the tmpfile function under mingw for me.
Please let me know how it works for you. You'll need to apply the patch to
gnulib, then add "tmpfile" to the list of gnulib modules in PSPP's Smake
file, then rerun "make -f Smake".
I'd like to know whether this works under Windows, as well, as I've only
tested it under Wine.
