I was thinking about how to make good graphics, which should probably be a high priority after the release. I started reading
"The Grammar of Graphics," 2nd edition by L. Wilkinson, Springer 2005. ISBN 0-387-24544-8. It's good so far, and says a lot about how I think we should approach making a graphics engine in PSPP. The author shows a way of looking at an "algebra" for making graphics from data. Using those ideas would let us program not just graphics, but also consistent framework under which to make those graphics. I think it's a direction we should look at. -Jason _______________________________________________ pspp-dev mailing list [email protected] http://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/pspp-dev
