Hello John,

It fixes the encoding problem, but creates two news. If I select the 'Scientific notation' Type, nothing happens, and if I choose 'Custom currency', psppire crashes. running it on gdb, I get:

Program received signal SIGSEGV, Segmentation fault.
value_to_text (v=..., dict=0x0, format=...) at src/ui/gui/helper.c:56
56      s = data_out (&v, dict_get_encoding (dict->dict), &format);
