Hello, pleased to meet you.

I am personally working on rewriting PSPP in Rust to increase its
robustness and portability and to avoid the security reports that have
plagued it for a while now. It will take time for the rewrite to attain
feature parity with the current released version.

In the meantime, the other PSPP developers might be interested in working
on the features you mention, but I do not hear from them often so I do not
know how actively they are working on PSPP.

I am interested in your feedback on the experience with larger datasets. It
has always been a goal of PSPP to work well with large datasets, so I'd
like to hear about what you have actually seen in practice.
