There is a suggestion that SPSS Student Version could be used, but the person
suggesting this did not know the limitations of this version. The limitations
are 1500 cases and 50 variables. For student use, 1500 cases should be
sufficient. If more than 50 variables are required, then the solution is to
create multiple files of 50 variables plus one additional "working file" of 50
variables. Paste the required variables from the multilple files into the
"working file".
