Strike my last message - I got the syntax to work (I missed the terminating "." on the first line...I'm getting used to syntax input).
However, the PNG file that is produced from this command is empty. 0 bytes. -----Original Message----- From: John Darrington [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Wednesday, April 01, 2009 8:49 AM To: Jonathan Fowler Cc: John Darrington; [email protected] Subject: Re: Empty PNG files On Wed, Apr 01, 2009 at 07:44:15AM -0400, Jonathan Fowler wrote: I tried that syntax but I'm stuck after the second line (loop #i = 1 to 100). My experience with Unix is very limited (I have a Parallels install of Ubuntu on my Mac at home, and that's about it). I can get the syntax commands to produce analyses in HTML and ASCII, but when I instruct the system to produce a plot (e.g. boxplot), the output file is empty. 0 bytes. What am I doing wrong? Perhaps there is a problem with the cygwin plotter or with your libplot installation, or perhaps your data set has no values. Do you get anything with the code below? input program. loop #i = 1 to 100. compute x = normal(50). end case. end loop. end file. end input program. examine x /plot=boxplot. -- PGP Public key ID: 1024D/2DE827B3 fingerprint = 8797 A26D 0854 2EAB 0285 A290 8A67 719C 2DE8 27B3 See http://pgp.mit.edu or any PGP keyserver for public key.
